Haha told you all I was working on a bunch of dresses!
This one kept reminding me of The Phantom of the Opera LOL. A bunch of you are going to shoot me but I don't like PotO except for the masquerade scene haha. I think it's the crazy costumes and dancing around on pretty stairs that does it for me.
Even though I kept being reminded of Christine's wardrobe, it's actually inspired by the "Fox and Moon" story I keep badgering you all to death with haha! The character Moon is based off of me and if I was the moon, I would walk around in extravagantly long, silk chiffon nightgowns and robes. So a little piece of that wardrobe is now real. (:
Anyway, dismantled two vintage dresses for this one and used tons of old scraps I had laying around to piece it together. It's light and flowy and the train is subtle when you walk around in it. YES, it's see-through because it's made as a nightgown piece. On this mannequin the shoulders look normal but they're off-shoulder. This mannequin is NOT my size hahaha. XD
