Commission forof the infamous Jack of Blades from the Xbox classic, Fable & Fable: Lost Chapters. I had an XBL gamertag named in his honor once. XP
It's sculpted out of sculpey and molded with my fingers and a pair of needle nose pliers ( I don't have sculpting tools LOL). The shape is a bit different than the original Jack of Blades mask because this one is meant to be worn and was made in the measurements of the commissioner. It was then painted in acrylic paint and the gold detailing was done in gold leafing paint. The cracks were cut into the mask before baking with two separate kitchen knives. My mom was curious as to where her nice knives kept running off to. XDD
It was decided to go with gold for the ridges because the muted cream/gold looked a little off in physical form. The stitches are sculpted from sculpey and then after backing and painting I epoxied individual twine thread pieces over it and then painted over them to more resemble the stitching in Jack's mask.
Held onto the head with elastic bands and lined on the inside with faux brown suede.
