I'm a bit obsessed with Seether's version of the song for those who recognize the title. It's teasingly haunting and this dress moves the way the song lulls.

Lol told you all I've been busy! Tried photographing in a new corner of my room too haha. Started work on three dresses (and there's more to come) aside from working on hair pieces and little things for myself. I found a great little skin-tight booty-licious dress at Forever 21 a few months back and let me tell you.... it was REALLY short and REALLY tight. Needless to say, I still loved the rouching and the color so I bought it despite it definitely not being my size lol. Sat it down with the sewing machine for the past three days and turned it into this. (:

I think that's one of my favorite things about sewing is being able to turn other pieces into whatever I want. XD

Anyway, it's 7" wide vintage embroidered French alencon trim, a 12" vintage lace trim, black babydoll lace trim, black insertion lace, lots of rhinestones, vintage glass bugle beads, smokey glass drops, purple satin, black mesh, and one mutilated Forever 21 dress. All of the beading is by hand and there are four draped strands on either side, five tiered strands on the bottom of each purple satin panel, as well as more beading on the front and back at the bottom. When this thing twirls, it's so awesome... the purple flounces out from underneath it perfectly and it packs a lot more fabric than it looks so that makes the twirl that much more spectacular! :happybounce:

Bust: 28 - 38 inches | Waist: 25 - 30 inches | Hips: up to 38 inches

It's shown with my Victorian onyx pendant. (:

This piece is SOLD.

Thanks for viewing! <3

No I didn't. I'm entirely self-taught in both clothing and drawing/painting. (:

Very cool Just wondering, I want to design clothing and you attention to detail is amazing. Where do you buy your fabrics? or do you make them?

Thank you! I started by taking apart old clothing and seeing how they were put together and then I just jumped into it and played around. I buy fabrics locally at vintage/antique fabric stores as well as on Etsy and Ebay. (:
