Details:
So awhile back I found a girl on Etsy that had skull necklaces which is nothing new to me, I've made them before but she utilized clay with them. SO naturally, I had to try it lol. I made a smaller version with a mink skull that I'll be posting soon before I did this one just to test it. This process has been AWESOME! I'm so in love with the finished product!! I used things I got for Christmas to make it as I haven't done a jewelry piece for me and I really wanted something crazy to wear to dinner and freak my mom out LOL jk. XD
I used a amethyst as the focal color and stone as it's always been an important one to both my mother and to me based off of it's healing properties and positive energy. This is a heavy piece but the mink skull is much smaller and lighter. I like heavy pieces that swing around a lot so naturally, I had to use the larger of the two haha. In length, it's about a foot long in the front.
Materials: gray fox skull, sculpey, acrylic paints, rhinestones, amethyst point, smokey quartz point, lavender agate cabochon, victorian era filigree pendant with glass vial, Czech glass beads, fire polished lavender glass beads, swarovksy crystals, two sizes of copper chain, two authentic coins from India taken from a broken vintage bracelet, copper clasp, dyed purple geode slice, copper wire
This piece is SOLD.
Thanks for viewing!! ^~^
